These unisex jeans have a classic silhouette with a mid rise and straight leg. Instead of denim, Colonna has opted for a substantial cotton jumbo corduroy with pronounced vertical cords - an unusual choice for trousers that is typical of the designer's ethos. The fabric is thick and has a cushioned feel with a soft surface.

The details of this piece are appropriated from classic mid-century designs, with curved pockets on the front and patch pockets on the back. Like most Jean Colonna designs from this period, the hems and interior are finished with conspicuous black overlock stitching. Note the angular finishing on the interior, suggesting the jeans can be worn inside-out.
